3/7-3/11 Blog Post

CUE Rockstar
Thank you in advance to everyone attending.  It can definitely be overwhelming how much you learn in one weekend but even if you just take away one thing that will help your students it is well worth it.  Plus hopefully you are able to connect with teachers from other schools so we can learn from them as well.  Hope everyone has fun!

Being part of the CUE Rockstar Voxer group I wanted to yell this at least once a day.

Websites
Everyone on our staff is using some sort of website to communicate with parents.  At one of our next staff meetings I would like to have a discussion around everyone on our site using the same type of site for next year.  From all perspectives (parents, teachers being able to help other teachers, and as the principal) everyone using the same type of site would be very helpful.  It sounds like a lot like Shutterfly and I know they have an app as well so that might be the direction we go but we will discuss more.  I would love to hear the pros and cons of different sites.  If you can do me a favor and just put the link to your website on this doc I would really appreciate it. This would be for the start of next school year not this year. Stoneridge Staff Websites

Computer Lab
During tech docent time we have had quite a few keyboards broken.  If you could remind students that when they are in there they need to put headphones on the monitor and push in their chair and be respectful to the equipment.  Mindy said it is mainly 3rd, 4th and 5th that are leaving in a hurry but it is probably a good time to remind all students.
