Thanks for all your hard work getting the school year started
It is a lot of work getting the year started, especially with having back to school night before school starts.  Thank you for all your hard work!

Walk to School Scanning is Everyday Starting August 29th
We will be scanning the tags everyday starting August 29th.  Any student who needs a scanner tag can get one in the office starting on Tuesday, August 23rd.  We will have flyers coming home next week.

How to Turn Off Voxer Notifications
I know some asked how to turn off notifications on specific groups.  Click on the gear icon on the top right.  Then click more options.  Then you can change notifications from normal to off.  The original Voxer group will only be used for business from now.  I will be making a Fun Stoneridge group that you can obviously turn off notification or leave if you don't want to be in there.  To leave a chat go to more options and then leave chat.  If you have any questions about how to turn off notification that you don't want please let me know.

Anyone else feel this way after this week?

Character Assemblies
Just a reminder that Character Assemblies will be 11:05-11:40 this year.

Recess Rules
Each cart should have 7 rubber balls, 6 basketballs, 4 tether balls, 2 soccer balls.  I am working on getting that printed and laminated so it is on the carts at all times.  Here are the Slides I will be going over

Professional Development Opportunities
Obviously it is so early in the year but wanted to let you know about some PD opportunities.  If you ever come across something you want to go to just let me know and we can talk.

-A few teachers at Sargeant took this online math course and said it was great.  I will cover the cost for anyone that wants to take it.

Room 32 Calendar
We will be using Room 32 for the art lessons taught by STAR Nova and Young Rembrandts.  5th grade PLTW will be using it on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-3.  This used to be called the art room calendar.  You should have access to it.  You can use this room for art.  I need to get the room ready but please feel free to sign up to use this room.  You should be able to see this calendar under Other Calendars.

As a reminder you can look at the calendar tab or your gmail calendar to see what is happening at school.  Next week is as clear as the calendar will ever look.
