I wanted to say thank you to everyone.  I know there has been a lot of emotions with all that has happened with previous students.  I also know this tends to be the time of the year where teachers have the additional stress of parent teacher conferences, grades, and getting assessments done.  I am trying to help by giving you time.  I hope you all know how much I appreciate all of your hard work and how much you care about our students.  I also appreciate your willingness to dance at the talent show :)

Here is the schedule, locations, and what you need to bring for PD on the 31st.  TK-2 will be at Diamond Creek and 3-5 will be at Cooley.  All groups are 8:30-3:30.

November 1st PD
A reminder that the expectation is that you are here by 9 and working in PLCs to start and then have time on your own until 11:30.  At 11:30 I will have Dos Coyotes in the staff room.   We will start in Natomas right at 1.  Here is the schedule for when we go to Natomas.  On the schedule they put Zumba 4-5 because they do that on Tuesdays.  Obviously no one is expected to go to that but Jennifer said we are welcome to do it as well :)

Hopefully you can connect and learn not just that day, but also stay connected to continue learning and sharing more than just this one day.  On the schedule you will see they are presenting on writing and math workshop and then there is time to talk.  Then our school presents on how we do PLTW and then there is time to answer questions about that.  Obviously the conversations can go anywhere I mainly just want us to learn together and connect with people outside of our district.  Plus you get to see their school and furniture.

I sent an email earlier in the week with instructions.  Parents will be able to access it on Wednesday morning so please make sure you block off any time on the scheduler that you can not see parents before it goes out.

Prizes from Jog
The students that get an extra 30 minutes of recess we will do that on Monday November 14th from 11-11:30.  The students that get lunch with a staff member will be on Friday, December 2nd.
