PLC Collective Commitments
Thanks for taking the time to go over these at the staff meeting. If you have any questions about these commitments let me know. I know the cell phone thing was talked about a bit. I'm not concerned about the random emergency when it comes to cell phones. It sounded like we all agreed that it was more about making sure we are present when we do have PLC time.
Here are the collective commitments we came up with:
-All of our kids are all of our kids
-Respectfully sharing ideas that support instruction and student learning.
-Common assessments given by the agreed upon PLC date and share data honestly and openly
-Stay on task and student focused

Logging into the Computers in the Computer Lab
Usually we have the computer already logged into googlekids1. The positive of this is it doesn't waste time logging in and out. The negative is that even when kids click log out of clever or iReady it doesn't actually log them out. As of right now there are no fixes for this within googlekids1. Instead each student needs to log into their account from the homescreen. The recommendation at this point seems to be that you can still use googlekids1 as the login but if you are using Clever, iReady, or Google kids accounts just have their log in with their students ID and password. The passwords are as follows:
TK and K- k
1st grade- 1
2nd grade- 2
Grades 3, 4, 5,- DOB as mm/dd/yy

Casino Night
Just a reminder all teachers can go to Casino Night for free but we do ask that you help at certain spots. Last year it was about 1 hour per teacher and should be the same this year. On the doc below you just mark yes if you can go. If you can't it is no problem but I know parents love having their child's teacher there and it is a fun night. Ticket order forms are going home with students either today or early next week. Please mark if you can go by February 13th that way we can go over jobs for the night at the February 15th staff meeting. Just a reminder you will need to buy your spouse a ticket if they want to go. Also if you would like to buy a Golden Ticket or Additional drink tickets you can do that on the order form or at www.stoneridgeshop.com.

Casino Night Contest
Just a reminder that I will sub 2 hours for the teacher that has the most parents go from their class. Yes if a grandparent or friend goes and they put your name down on the order form that counts as well.

Admin Credential
Not sure if you all get these emails, but here is some information about getting an Admin Credential through PCOE. Being a principal is a great job! If you ever have questions about anything admin let me know. They have info sessions on February 9th and 10th.
