Playground Rules
A reminder that we will be going over playground rules at 10:30 on Wednesday for K-5. I will be going over the rules for the games again and also going over walking on the white, 4 square rules, freeze bell, expectations at assemblies, expectations at lunch, and bathrooms not being used as walkways. If there is anything else you want me to go over please let me know.

GATE Testing
I know sometimes you guys get questions about GATE testing. Registration was due January 6th. I know we will get parents that say they didn't know. We sent out emails and it was in the blog multiple weeks. If they have questions you can direct them to me. Those that did register will get their testing date and time by January 13th and we usually get results late March but there is no guarantee of that.
iPads
The Tech department did what they needed to do for the iPads if someone from your grade level wants to stop by my office to grab them. Some of the stickers are no longer on there so if you aren't sure which iPads are yours just ask and we will get it figured out. Luckily most of them have different color cases so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.

When It Comes to the 4 C's, Some Principals Aren't Making the Grade- Education Week
What? Principals Are in It for the Money?- Ed Week "The majority of principals do, in fact, become principals to make a positive difference in the lives of students and their staff. After surveying hundreds of principals, he found that 97.6% of principals said their motivation for entering administration was their passion for student learning. Additionally, almost all of the principals surveyed cited the most rewarding aspects of the principalship that fell into one of two categories, being witness to the growth and development of students and being witness to the growth and development of adults, including parents, teachers, and community members. In short, administrators choose administration for the same reasons teachers decide to become teachers."
