Children’s Book Author Jonathan London is coming to Stoneridge!
Jonathan London is coming to Stoneridge on Thursday, April 6th. The plan is for the first assembly for TK-2 from 1-1:50 and grades 3-5 2-2:50 on that day. He will share with our students his writing and imagination process. If parents would like to purchase books for their child to have signed the day of they need to use the order form.
Order forms due no later than Wednesday, March 22nd
- READING HIS BOOKS- JeriAnn will have a bucket of his books available in the library. Please try to read a few of his books before he arrives. He does have a trilogy (outdoor adventure chapter books) that are a quick read.He will be reading an excerpt from Grizzly Peak at his visit.
-QUESTIONS ABOUT THE WRITING PROCESS- Jonathan would love if students would come prepared with questions they have for him about writing for his presentation. Maybe having a few students with quality questions written down to ask would be a good way to prepare.
- ART WORK- There are a TON of ideas on Pinterest if you look up Jonathan London Author Study. If you end up doing a project with your class we would love to display it in the multipurpose room or the staff room.
-LUNCHEON- We will be ordering sandwiches for a staff luncheon the day of his visit. Be on the lookout for more information regarding $$. Jonathan London Order Form
