May 26 Happy weekend!

Hello and happy three day weekend to you! I hope you have some fun things planned, or maybe nothing is the perfect thing to do!

This year has flown by and it's hard to imagine we have 8 amazing days left! And then on to summer... glorious summer :)

We are ready wrap up the year with lots of special activities and celebrations -- creating memories with each other and our students! You'll want to check out the Dates and Details doc for all of the info and please let me know if there is anything I need to add. In addition to all of the FUN, there is a marathon SST day Tuesday, and an IEP day on the 30th-- we are problem solving with students right til the finish line!

A few end of year items:

• Do not give out report cards early due to kids going on vacation etc. Report cards go out on the last day only. If parents want items, they will need to leave a self - addressed pre-posted envelope to put it in.
• The 8th is a teacher work day and I will provide a check out schedule with 15 minute slots. The times will be a random drawing to sign up, and my goal will be to get you finished in under 15! The check out sheet will be out this week so you can get started on items.
• Keys: if you are not going to be in the same room next year, you will need to turn in your key. If you are staying in your room, you will need to sign that you have kept your key :)
• For the teacher jog lunch on the 30th, I am planning to have all students eat outside, and the special lunch will be in the MP. That will allow us to accommodate the 100-ish kids and not have to squish in the library :)  Teachers, you can just go to lunch at your usual time and just get the kids who picked you from their classes. Pizza, juice, and a treat will await you . in the gym :) (Kim, work with me-- we can find a time for you)
• Field Day schedules were emailed and are also in the dates and details doc.
