5/9-5/13 Blog Post

Carnival
Thank you for donating your time for the teacher time raffles and also to those who are coming tonight to the Carnival and helping make it a great night for our students!  Last time ever for teacher silly string (you all really should have told me sooner), so those who are doing it, enjoy.  Please no rain, please no rain, please no rain.

Congrats Again to Christina for being the 2016 Teacher Who Makes a Difference Award Winner.

School Supply List
At the next staff meeting (agenda below) we will be talking more about a potential new plan for school supplies.  At PLC on Monday if you could please look over your supply list and see if you want to make any changes that would be helpful.  Do not make any changes on the doc itself just note them and then I will update the sheet.  The way to read this sheet is the item is on the left and the X indicates which grade level wants that item.  If there is a number by the X that is how many packs or of those items the grade level wanted.  Thanks!

Teacher Allotment Money
Some of you still have money to spend (or more likely receipts to turn in).  Next Friday May 13th is the last day.  Any money not used will be just rolled into the PTC budget.  Please see the sheet to see if you have some money left in PTC Allotment.

CAASPP Testing Starts Next Week for 4th grade
Just a reminder that state testing starts next week.  The computer lab is shut down for the next two weeks other than 3rd and 5th grade teachers can use it to do practice tests next week.  Tamberlyn is trying to move as many of her groups to the afternoon as she can as she is helping kids test in the morning.

Place value lesson and fun in Sheila's class.
